Cadiz, April 22. N. S.
There are thirty two Vessels ready to sail from this Port to the North Seas: We expect from Carthagena sixteen Merchant Ships more, with two Frigates, and from Alecant twenty one Merchant Ships, a Man of War, and a Fire Ship. A Vessel arrived from the South Seas, met towards the Canary Islands, the Spanish Flota steering for New-Spain with a favourable Wind. Commissioners are sent hither by the Court, to value several Ships which private Merchants turned into Privateers; the King designed to buy them for his own Service in case of Need.
